Shouts
Big love to the people and ideas behind this game. Casual version, so no stiff formalities. (The proper, complete list is on the Credits page.)
TRAVESTY
The whole soundtrack is Travesty. Honestly, the game sounds like itself because of them. They are Frith, Dastardos and Phil May, and the tracks you hear in the game come from two of their early aliases: El Topo and Precursor. Both were Phil's projects, running in parallel, from around 15 years ago.
Go and listen properly, follow them, tell your friends. They are the reason you can hear anything good in here.

Orbital
A shout to Orbital, the Hartnoll brothers (Wikipedia). Nothing of theirs is in this game, but there is an Easter egg somewhere: an hour of synthesized music that you can play with live, in homage to the way they play live. Can you find it? Hint: a certain word likes to be hovered.
The shoulders this stands on
- Tim Berners-Lee and Brendan Eich: no web, no JavaScript, no game in your browser.
- TypeScript (with Anders Hejlsberg as lead architect) keeps the code honest.
- Evan You's Vite builds it, and Linus Torvalds's Git remembers every change.
- The Fast Fourier Transform (Cooley and Tukey, 1965) is how the visualizer hears the music.
- The A* search algorithm (Hart, Nilsson and Raphael, 1968) is how your units find their way.
- WebRTC powers the Lab's peer-to-peer connection test; the Web Audio API makes all the synthesized sound.
Secret videos
Behind-the-scenes videos are heading to DarkDeck (darkdeck.net), the creator's new music and video home, built with visualizers in from the start. They will be embedded here with a slim player that loads nothing until you press play. None are up yet.
